Vibrant Blooms

Hello!
I've been playing with the colour palette featured in this months Colour Challenge, and what a gorgeous set of colours it is! I made a painty panel, showcasing a very effective but very simple way of creating flowers!

My background is a typical 'Trish' creation, layers of paint, stencilling, stamping and then a little melted black UTEE...
All the stamps are from a 7 Dots set, love them!
The flowers are very easy to do. The trick is to use copy paper rather than cardstock. As the paper is painted on both sides, it is quite strong, but it is still much thinner than card. This means it can be crumpled much more easily to give the nice texture and dimension we are after...
The circles are simply layered together with a punched out starburst shape, then fixed with a brad in the centre. I've used just three flowers, but these look great in large quantities bunched together!

The colour challenge is open for another few days, so why not check it out HERE!
Have a great day,
Trish xxx
