Playing with layers.

I'm off for a couple of weeks on my holls so my inspiration for my blog post was to make a postcard in summery colours. 

I started with a sheet of Glitz Uncharted waters paper which I used on my background and along with various other papers I die cut all my shape layers and glued them down to the postcard. I also had a small bit of Sticky backed canvas left so I used this to cut some pennants for the corner. Once everything was stuck down I went a bit mad with the Mr Hueys spray inks and just kept adding colours until I was happy with the effect and had unified most of the papers. 

  

As a finishing touch I rubbed some gold paste over to give it a shine.
