Hello!
It's October...... so bring on the Spooky!
I've a quick tag to share today...
The base for this is a size 10 tag, with a very quick background technique...good old gluey crackle!
Orange paint underneath, glue on top, then black paint. I did a little orange stamping, and then sprinkled the tag with black UTEE, once melted, this produces a raised splatter effect, which looks fab when you dry brush it with silver paint.....
My skeleton is a plastic one from the supermarket....painted black, then dry brushed with more silver paint....
I added a small heart charm, painted red with more silver accents.....
A few typed words and it was done!
Easy peasy....just get along to the supermarkets and stock up on all those plastic spooky bits and bobs!

Oh yeah, well spooky :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome tag! Perfectly spooky!
ReplyDeleteFantastic tag Trish, love the orange and lack crackle backdrop. You would never know your skeleton was plastic. Love the heart too. Brilliant . Tracy x
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSo creepy! You used glue ? Oho this one technique I've missed. It makes a fab crackle effect!
ReplyDeleteWow, I thought you had altered a bottle opener (his shoulders look so much like top bit, umm, there's an idea?).
ReplyDeleteSuperb effects & colours, great sentiment, lol. I did buy some Halloween plates the other day but no idea what to do with them. Wish I could master technique with crackle glue & paints. Can you do video tutorial? Only kidding, you are SO busy...
Ace Tag!! :))
