Welcome to the 8th of our amazing Designers, Karen Hayselden.
I'm so pleased we asked Karen to be part of the 12 Designers as her work is always full of incredible detail and a quirky sense of fun which I love.
She hasn't disappointed here and created this fabulous sign full of texture and richness and given us loads of pictures too.
She's also supplied us with the materials list so you can have a go at your own.
White gesso, Derwent Inktense, Derwent Graphitint, Montana pens, Glass glitter by Finnabair, Texture paste - crackle by Finnabair, 3D Matt Gel and Glass Beads, Ranger Distress stickles in Fired Brick, Stampotique stamp, Whisker Monster and the mini Christmas ornament, Sakura Gelly roll pen in Clear Star.
Other materials include a piece of slate, a twig from the garden, some rusty bells, wire and a rusty star all fixed on with a hot glue gun.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, the monster instructing Santa is Absolutely Fabulous! Quirky, a bit grunge mixed with gorgeous blues & red, so much interest, texture, dimension & detail. Brilliantly created! I so want to think up ideas like this.... Tfs : )
