Hello!
I've made a painty canvas to share today, with lots of extra little details that you can use to jazz up those canvas projects!
The canvas itself (a 5 x 5 chunky box canvas), has had my usual treatment of smearing paint across it! I've used Golden paints for this, in teal and violet. I also added some rough puff paint areas to give some texture...
I did a little painty printing, but this canvas is all about the additions really, not the background!
I took two of the idea-ology glass vials, and dripped in a mixture of white glue, water and Indian ink. Put the cork back in, then shook them up. Poured away the excess, and you're left with an interesting coloured look to the bottle!
I glued on the bottles to the canvas, then wrapped some wire around them. This is purely for decoration, the glue is holding them on securely! I also twisted the wire to form a bow, then added that to the wire wrapping.
The feet for my canvas are made from rolled up paper spirals, painted to match....
Not to be left out, I also added interest to the top of the canvas. I coloured a paper flower to match the rest of the project, then added an idea-ology door knob to the centre...
I curled up the petals to it looks very dimensional from the side view...
The final touch as to add the letters, idea-ology again!
So... feet, flowers, door knobs and great big items such as bottles can all adorn your canvases!
See you soon!
