Thankful For Life - Scrapbook Layout

Hi folks!

Georgie here with you today and I'm going to be sharing a layout. I will do things a little differently in this post, that I will link all products used at the bottom of the page, other wise this will be super long!

As most of you who follow me know that my son is my greatest inspiration, and I love to scrapbook him. This page represents how thankful I am for him, all the treatment we went through to get him and that he is here enriching our lives everyday.

I started out with 7 Dots Studio Cold Country paper, one 12 x 12 sheet and a few from the 6 x 6 pack, layer around the photo before sticking to the 12 x 12 with pop dots.

To create the background I stamped with a couple of the smaller Prima Stamps and painted with Distress Paints. Then of course some lovely Art Basics with a sprinkling of glitter!

I used Mica Flakes to help build extra texture into the background, and something I accidentally found out, they can be stamped on really easily and hold the pattern of the stamp beautifully - I will be sure to remember that :)

I painted the wooden pieces and poppy flowers from Prima in black, and then touched with greens to match the background.

Used the gorgeous Elements and Word Stickers from 7 Dots Studio to add to the layering.

More beautiful mica flakes and stamping, I have to say I love my new stamp from Prima, the little doily pattern one, it has such detail!

Sorry, in order for me to photo this without it looking dark I had to put the lamp on so this has a different tone to it but I wanted to show this beautiful Prima Clock. It's unfortunately a dark, wet, cloudy day.... in June!! No fair!!! :)

That's it from me today, see you soon!
Hugs
Georgie xx
