Introducing Trish...

And last, but by no means least, we're very proud to say we have Trish Latimer joining us.

My name is Trish Latimer, and I live in Blackpool. I'm a full time mixed media designer/teacher/writer (in between looking after my 4 children!)

My passion is paint! Whilst I enjoy inks of all kinds, paint is my 'go to' method of creating both simple and complex layered backgrounds. I love to add stamped images and my own embellishments to my work too, plenty that adds the complexity and detail I love to create. I enjoy working with lots of different mediums too, I probably use gesso or moulding paste on almost every project I think!!

I'm probably a bit unusual in that as well as being passionate about the messy mixed media side of craft, I also love jewellery making! I do love mixed media jewellery, but am just as happy with wire work techniques, as well as stringing and linking.

If I had to describe my style in a few words, I think it would be Messy, Quirky, and Colourful!
Colour features very heavily in both my messy crafty stuff and my jewellery, I just love coming up with vibrant and unusual combinations. Quirky is another word I use to describe my creations, anything just that little bit unusual or off the wall appeals to me, I'm DEFINITELY not a follow the crowd type crafter!
I’ve been teaching all kinds of papercrafts, jewellery making techniques and the messy painty stuff for nearly ten years now, and I love it. Sharing ideas and giving my students that extra little ‘push’ they may need to get really free and creative makes me smile every time!

I currently write regularly for Craft Stamper and Beads And Beyond Magazines, and recently released a DVD called ‘Create With Paint’.

I can’t wait to start sharing lots of projects with you all!

Love, Trish xxxxx

Introducing Magda....

How much talent can one design team have?
Well, here's our next member, Magda Polakow.

My name is Magda. I'm Polish but I live in the UK. I came to the UK almost 4 years ago. I live with my partner and two beagle girls.  I heard about cardmaking when I came to the UK. I bought some papers and...today I'm here with hundreds of projects. I experiment with mediums, papers and paints. I like mixing colours with a drop of a good sense of humour. I love mixed media projects. I'm trying to combine designers paper with my drawings and mixed media techniques. Still I feel thirsty for knowledge about scrapbooking and mixed media techniques. I would love to join your team. I think it's a great opportunity and I can learn a lot and I will inspire many people and show them many mixed media techniques.

Introducing Paula...

Welcome to Friday, and the lovely very talented Paula Whittaker!.

My name is Paula Whittaker, I live in the east of England not to far from the coast and have plenty of countryside on my door step, been married to Nick

for over 15 years and have a cat called 'Jess' who happens to be black and

white (think Postman Pat!) Anyhow, I started crafting in 2004 and I couldn't

imagine my life without creating something now.

I've been lucky to have been

a Guest Artist in Stampington's 'Take Ten' magazine and I've been published
in other fab titles like The Stampers' Sampler, Craft Stamper, Crafts
Beautiful and Cardmaking and Papercraft.

Introducing Arnlaug...

We couldn't resist our next designer - Arnlaug Koppang from Norway for some scrappy inspiration.

I'm a scrapaholic 30 year old "girl" from a small island at the west coast of Norway. I've been scrapping since 2008 but I would say it's the last 2 years my creativity really hit the surface. And now I can't stop;-) I mainly make layouts but sometimes I try out other projects aswell, and I'm just starting out playing with art journaling.

I am married and have to precious little girls at the age of 2 and 3 whom you can find at most of my layouts. I work full time as a social worker so my days are pretty full. But whenever I can I try to sneak up to my room for a creative brake:-)

I'm currently on the design team for a great sketchblog in NORWAY, Skissedilla. The blog is one of the big ones in Norway and we now get more and more international contributers aswell.

Pop back tomorrow for more fabulous members of our creative team.

Introducing Jaine

Welcome to Jaine Drake, yet another incredibly talented lady!

I’m a British expat., living in leafy Luxembourg,  wife, mother to three daughters and one eccentric cat.  I’m a designer and mixed media artist and love it when I can get painty-messy or spend some time cutting and sticking in my basement workshop.   My first loves (after my family of course) are journaling, mini book making and now smashing but I have been known to do the odd layout and will alter anything which doesn’t move.

I’m very lucky to have my name associated with some fabulously exciting craft names and write for Craft Stamper and Scrap 365 magazines and now I’m honoured to be among some truly talented people here at A Sprinkle of Imagination.  Bring on the fun!

Introducing Gez

We are absolutely delighted to introduce our first design team member, Gez Butterworth.

Hi my name is Gez. I live in the North West of England. I am a self taught stamping and mixed media artist and designer creating custom made cards and gifts. I have long admired A Sprinkle of Imagination's online store, and can normally be found with a cup of hot chocolate late at night browsing! It is wonderful that they have made so many unusual products available here in the UK. I love all things inky and messy, sketching, art journaling and seeing, how I can get, as much out of a product, as possible. I look forward to sharing some creations with you along the way. This year I have seen my artwork published in Craft Stamper and Scrap365, joining the new Design Team has to be the icing on the cake!
