Just to say: Thank you ASOI!!!

Hello my sweet friends!!!
It is time to say goodbye to my design team in ASOI. It was a really incredible and very positive experience! The store is spectacular, has lots of goodies for an artist! But won't get sentimental, because some doors close and the others ones open:) and I would like to thank to everyone for the amazing instance in this DT. So my last project is this simple card with simple words but from all my heart! I leave with a very good taste, with new friends and excellent organization! Just to say you: Thank you!!!
For creating of this card I have used Prima Paper as the background of the card. Creating texture with Buckground stencils and Finnabair Art Basics: Modeling Paste. As well as adding the  Art Ingredients Micro Beads - Black.

The Finnabair Art Basics: Clear Gesso is essential in order to make Prima Color Bloom Sprays more colorful. And to get a vibrant effect, I have added the dry Finnabair Art ExtraVagance Glitter Set.

Some flowers, Chipboard and small elements complete the composition.
And this is all! :))
Thank you for being with me, for your comments and just because you are great!
See you next time!!! xx

Notebook "The time is over".

Hi everybody!
Today I want to share with you a male notebook. Made in style Mixed Media it speaks of time. The time is something ephemeral and very relative... The details of gears, metallic elements, colors and texture, everything is reminiscent of grunge.

The base is a gray cardboard, covered with Liquitex white Gesso and thousand layered. Also many  Buckground stencils and Finnabair Art Basics: Modeling Paste are not missed here.
I love using washi tape like in this project. I have added a little bit of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Tissue Tape - Commute It looks really nice!
The red needle of the clock and more other red elements make the meaning clearer. Art Ingredients Micro Beads - Black create an awesome texture.
The recycled details always found its site in my works, as these parts of an electrical appliance. :)

To simulate the oxidation, I have resorted some parts with  Ranger Acrylic Paint Dabber: Cheese Puff.

To bind, I used a red Prima Wire Thread - Cardinal instead of typical rings.

Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder and background stamps provide much brightness and incredible effects.

The back cover is made with the same techniques and in accordance with all design.

Different layers of Ranger Acrylic Paint Prima Color Bloom Sprays, and Prima Chalkboard Paint - Plum also help for creating the texture.
Well, I hope you liked it :)
Many kisses and see you soon!xxx

My little treasure casket.

Hi my friends!
How are you today?  We're in the middle of July and it is so hot on the street!!! Here in Valencia, Castellón (Spain), the temperature of water in the sea is +37 ° degrees! The truth is that you don't feel like going out, with air conditioning is fine inside :)) And what can be done at home meanwhile? Correct! Making scrapbook! :)
So I have prepared a  treasure casket for a little Princess :) Made in Shabby Chic style, with much glitter and flowers. This project is for A Sprinkle Of Imagination, an online store where you can buy everything you need for your Mixed Media projects.
The top is decorated with beautiful Chipboard & Paper, all are in blue tones, very fresh and romantic :)  Different flowers serve as embellishment.
The brightness above the flowers has been applying the Finnabair Art Ingredients Art Sugar with Finnabair Art Basics: Soft Matte Gel . I love this effect!

A Metal Charm, the  key adds a Shabby effect and underlines the significance of the functionality of the box, which is to save the Princess treasures :)

I love this column, Resin Embellishment from Prima Marketing, it is so elegant, does'n it?

To create the texture with Finnabair Art Basics: Modeling Paste and Buckground stencils, previously hitting a white Ribbons & Trims.
Golden Fluid Acrylics  paints and Crackle Paint, Liquitex white Gesso, Prima Color Bloom Sprays, are some of the materials that I used to get this relief. The blue middle perls give it a special touches and the estamping with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads creates a little more contrast.

Well, it is all for now. I hope you liked it and I will wait impatiently your valuable comments. A very big kiss. See you soon!

A fairy tail - III. Finish the wedding guest book.

Hi everyone!
It is the time to finish my guest book for bride and groom from Lebanon :) I will show you the covers and all pages carrying. It was a great pleasure to do so, because my dear friend Nadiya gave me the total freedom of making this book for her sister's wedding. That it is much appreciated! To practice the Mixed Media techniques and try totransmit the tenderness and elegance at same time... creating something special for one of the best moments of their life.

The cover is lined with cotton fabric and decorated with paper. A handmade beige flower, other flowers from Prima Marketing, ribbons, chipboard, etc. form a floral composition of decoration.
The bride and groom's names  are cut with the Cameo, painted and covered with Glossy Accent.

To emphasize more the background, I've created the texture with Finnabair Art Basics: Soft Matte Gel and  Finnabair Art Ingredients Art Sugar. The effect is very subtle and bright, it is what I wanted.

You can see how  the first 2 pages were made  here, the materials that I used and where you can buy them.
The second 2 pages were posted here

And this is the fourth page for another photo to the bride and groom will decide to put in. I have incorporated the transparent dot fabric, excess paper from a die-cutting element, flowers, chipboardsFinnabair Art Basics: Modeling Paste with Buckground stencils

The last page has a built-in pocket, with  this nice brder made with Dimensional Punch and a paper  tag made with embossing carpet.
Some sprinkles of  Prima Color Bloom Sprays  give a special touches providing a luminosity and brightness.

And it is all for today.
All the materials used here you can find them in the srore  A Sprinkle Of Imagination and much more great products!!!)
Many kisses and see you later! Bye!

A fairy tail - II. Two wedding layouts.

Hi, everybody!
Elena Arts here with you today. It is very sunny here in Spain, so I just want to have some refresh drink, to sunbathe in the sea and do nothing all the time:)) lol
However, scapbooking is always welcome :) So, previously I shared with you my first page of the guest book for the bride and groom from Lebanon and today I will show you two others ones.

Creating these pages, I used materials from the store online A Sprinkle Of Imagination where you can find a lot of the products for your Mixed Media work.
I started with covering the paper with Finnabair Art Basics: Clear Gesso, then with the same gesso I glued a piece of gauze to get more texture. Next I apply  Prima Color Bloom Sprays in some specific places. I created relleve with Buckground stencils and  Finnabair Art Basics: Modeling Paste. To finish I always add a little bit of  Background stamps
Once the decor was chosen and glued, I reviewed above all elements with a brush dampened with a Finnabair Art Basics: Soft Matte Gel and  Finnabair Art Ingredients Art Sugar.
I sewed the photos with the sewing machine. I love how them look like, I think it is very  beautiful effect and the photos seem to be framed.
All the details are chosen to convey elegance, beauty, and the tenderness of the moment.
The next my post I will show you the last page and the covers to complete this project. At the moment it is all for today :)  I hope you liked it.
Many kisses and see you soon!
Your Elena.

A recycled boat. TUTORIAL.

Hello everyone!
Here with you Elena Arts again with my new project.
I love to recycle and give a new life to objects that have already exhausted their function. So, I want to show you what you can do with a boat of milk powder for baby. My daughter is now 4 years old and since I finished giving her milk, have passed some years :) I have reserved this pot for "just in case" and finally the time has come to take advantage of that container for other purposes.
I have made a container to save my art tools such as brushes, scissors, cutters, etc

To start, I covered the recipe with white gesso.

Then I glued using Finnabair Art Basics: Soft Gloss Gel some fabric, a bit of lace, chipboard and I wrapped around the boat a little of cord.

Then I played with the beatiful colors of  Prima Color Bloom Spray Mist: 573829 Worn Leather, Prima Color Bloom Spray Mist: 573737 Cotton Candy and Prima Color Bloom Spray Mist:573898 Colbalt

I added some accent with the acrilic gold paint.

and painted some parts with Finnabair Art Extravagance: Gold CrackleTexture Paste and Finnabair Art Ingredients Glass Glitter - Gold Rush. It is a very very nice effect!!!

To finish I applied some short touches of white gesso. This allows highlight the textures and it always  looks good in our Mixed Media works. Also I added some freehand stamping,  made the flower composition and used  Finnabair Vintage Mechanicals: 961121 Plate & Label

All materials you can get them right now here in the store and below you can see more photos with some details.

I hope it was useful for creating your projects and you have been inspired for  recicling :))
Thank you for your attention ;)
Bye, see you later,
