The 12 Brands Of Christmas - Brand #2 Lawn Fawn

Lawn Fawn is a small company from Southern California that specializes in crafting products (clear stamps, dies, paper & more) that are fun and lively. Lawn Fawn was started in 2010 when Kelly Marie combined forces with her husband Mike and friend Erica with a mission in mind - to bring smiles into the lives of crafters!!

 Why 'Lawn Fawn'?

"Lawn Fawn is named after a plastic deer that Kelly Marie received as a 21st birthday present. She named him Francois the Lawn Fawn, and he became a good luck charm of sorts. When deciding on a name for the company Lawn Fawn just seemed perfect. It is cute, whimsical and quirky, just like us!"

So now you know!

We totally agree that the Lawn Fawn products are cute, whimsical and quirky... but would also add in an extra word... USEFUL! The huge variety of  stackable Lawn Cuts dies in particular are just wonderful for any kind of shape you wish to use, and of course the 'stackable' element makes matting and layering a total doddle!

As some of you may know, I'm currently in the grip of a word die frenzy (!), and Lawn Fawn are one of my 'go to' companies for these... wonderful words and wonderful fonts, just perfect. I created a little something to share using the Lawn Fawn 'Scripty Joy' die:

The 'Scripty Joy' was cut from regular cardstock, then coloured with metallic paint. If you give metallic paint a blast with the heat gun before it's dry, it gives this fab texture. Lots of fumes as well though, so be careful! :)

Lawn Fawn products can be found in the ASOI shop HERE!

Don't forget to check back tomorrow, when our esteemed boss lady Vicki will be sharing a fabulous Lawn Fawn project herself!

Have a lovely day, Trish xx
