Hello!
Funny how you get inspired for colour schemes from all manner of places... the palette for this piece started off from the word stickers! A case of 'yellow...don't do enough with yellow.....' Then I accidentally got a splodge of pale blue on there, and the whole thing turned into the same colour scheme as my last piece! arrghh........ anyway, here it is....
I took inspiration from Vickis Ten Minute Tuesday post this week too... I cut some circles from book pages and shaded/doodled around them to resemble (in the loosest sense!) trees or big flowers...
Seems like an age since I put something through a stencil that wasn't texture paste of some description, so I decided to remedy that with a light sponging of dark red paint....
I've left the Stampotique figure black and white to offset all the colour going on behind her...
The final touch was the stickers that started it all! These are from the Prima Sun Kiss sheet, SUCH good value, loads of words as well as 4 different alphabets all on one sheet!
Have a fab weekend everyone!

wonderful Trish!
I like it a lot even if it is a repeat color scheme!
