Hello!
My first post as a DT member of ASOI!
I'm so exited! I can't find words...specially in English...I hope you
will forgive me.
Today I have for you three small
collage pages. I worked with layers which is a great fun! You should
try this! I will start with the first one. Here is it...
I used a piece of thick envelope as a
base. For the background I used gesso in a few places than I sprayed
the envelope with Dylusions Ink Sprays – Postbox Red and Turquoise.
Because envelope is brown and very quickly absorbing water, sprays
changed colours. My next step was to add some pieces of masking tape,
newspaper and a lovely Glitz Design Yours Truly Chevron paper.
Also I added a piece of bandage using
stapler. Once again I sprayed my project and painted it with a white
paint.
Now you can see difference between the
background colours and colours in paper made by Dylusions Ink Sprays.
After few minutes when sprays and the
paint were dry I used one of my favourite Stampotique stamp -
Honeycomb and than I added a few drops of Dr.Ph.Martin's Bombay IndiaInk – Orange and Ranger Glossy Accents.
The last thing was to add an elephant
from a beautiful Glitz Design Yours Truly Polka paper and add some
doodles. I drew a line around the elephant because I wanted him to be
exposed. Ufff, I think it's everything about this page. I hope you
are not asleep yet ;)
Now I would like to show you two more
pages. It will be shorter this time, I promise. Here they are...
I was working in the same way. I built
some layers using masking tape, gesso, Dylusions Spray Ink –
Postbox Red, white paint and papers. I also used a tag which I had
painted some time ago. I always can find something interesting in my
drawers ;) I couldn't resist orange ink and felt urged to add my
lovely Dr.Ph.Martin's Bombay India Ink – I love it!
The last thing was to add some
drawings. I coloured some parts of my hens head (sorry I really
don't know this parts of body in English ;)) using Dylusions Ink
Spray.
Of course I used a waterproof pen because I didn't want a smudgy hen!

See you next Monday! :)
